DRIVER'S
LICENSES
You must obtain a Florida's
driver's license within 30 days if you:
1. Accept a job here.
2.enroll your children in a local
school.
3. Claim homestead exemption.
4. Register to vote.
New residents are required to
pass only a visual exam if they have a valid license from another state.
Licenses are issued for six years and expire at midnight on your birth date.
If you don't have a license or
your out-of-state License has expired, you will also have to take the complete
test. If you are over 18 and don't have a valid license, it required that you
have a latter of clearance from your previous state of residence. The state

LICENSES

License to fish from either a
boat or land. Residents may fish from land only without a saltwater license.

from both saltwater and freshwater licensing. Licenses may be obtained at the
